We have now been away for nearly 3 weeks. The time has slipped away as we travel our vast beautiful country. Going through the Murchison, Gascoyne and Upper Gascoyne Shires it has been very dry, dusty and baron, they badly need rain in these areas. The beautiful rock colours and formations as we head further north are amazing, The Kennedy Ranges very different to the area around Mt Augustus, all formed over 1600 million years ago. Now we are in the Ashburton Shire and Pilbara it is more green with the contrast colours of the rock. The formations and colours are different again with the higher content of Iron. We have started to see some wildflowers as well around Tom Price. Whenever we are staying in a “bush camp” the Sunsets and the stars at night are truly stunning. We will be spending the next few weeks around the Pilbara before heading up to Broome. 💕
