Today another big day, weather warmer. Heading north through some lovely country up into higher ground through Warrumbungle National Park, then on through some badly burnt forrest, some very recent, other areas already re- growing. Then on to the flat low lands again, fields of crops of cotton, corn and sorghum, heaps of truck and caravans on the road today. Once into Queensland the clouds started forming, could see rain in the distance but we didn't get any. Arrived into Toowoomba in time for peak hour traffic, we managed to find our way to our Motel, technology is great.

We stayed 2 nights in Toowoomba. Lovely town, our favourite town of the whole trip. We had breakfast at Picnic Point Cafe, did a 5 km walk trail down and back up the hill, very warm by the time we finished. We then had a walk through their Japanese Gardens. Then on to the Cobb & Co Museum, very informative, so much history of the Toowoomba 1800 era. A really enjoyable day, had dinner in town, then walked back up to the motel. It was so nice to do a lot of walking, as a change from sitting in the car.
